About this product

Revolut is an e-money institution which means you can take out an everyday account to manage your money in a range of ways.

You can send, spend, receive and hold a range of currencies. Customers get a physical debit card for everyday spending, a virtual card and a single-use virtual card that resets its details each time you use it.

Review of the Revolut, Personal Account:

Great - not my favourite bank, but my favourite travel companion.

Revolut is really great, and so is their customer support. I'm an expat, having moved from Germany to UK, commuting the first three months, and I don't know how I would have done it without Revolut. If you need to manage money in more than one currency, Revolut is clearly the best. Only drawback is that transactions sometimes take relatively long (compared to UK standards), as well as customer support availability. They also promise a lot of huge features, but rarely deliver in time. They recently gained Eestonian bank license but that didn't have any real consequences, yet. So as my title says, Revolut is not my favourite bank, but my favourite travel companion. Reviewed on: 25th January 2019

I have only ever had positive experiences with my Re...

I have only ever had positive experiences with my Revolut account so far. The last being that when I was in Palm Beach Australia recently that they somehow identified that someone was using my card details in Sydney. So they froze my card and contacted me so see if it was me or not, which it obviously wasn't. I was so impressed. Reviewed on: 5th February 2025

One Card Does it All!

I travel extensively and the Revolut card is the only card I take with me. Exchanging currency is very easy too- great rates. Easy to use app that allows me to pay friends and businesses easily. Highly recommend. Reviewed on: 4th February 2025
