Revolut is an e-money institution which means you can take out an everyday account to manage your money in a range of ways.

You can send, spend, receive and hold a range of currencies. Customers get a physical debit card for everyday spending, a virtual card and a single-use virtual card that resets its details each time you use it.

Review of the Revolut, Personal Account:

Not great if you have a long name.

Love having this account for myself. HOWEVER, my children have accounts via mine, but Revolut will not let us set how their names are on their cards - my children have a double-barrelled surname, 15 letters total, they cut my half of the name out of their cards and only their useless father's name is on there. Need to be far more flexible about such things - was advised there was nothing that could be done. At least let us amend how our/their names appear on the card, not randomly pick which part of the surname to use. It isn't even their proper name on the card. They have another bank account and their names fit just fine. Reviewed on: 12th April 2024

was nervous about AI /chat bot customer services but to date response prompt and relevant. Key considerations to going with Revolut was security, simplicity of use and no fees for transactional fees abroad ....not always managed but more aware of T&C`s. Not 100% on Vietnam transactions.
