Travelled to Turkey for the first time and used Revolut

Travelled to Turkey for the first time and also used Revolut for the first time. I upgraded to plus service and used that before I left and during my time away. This saved us on exchange fees by allowing us to withdraw from certain cash machines (had a lot of ATM options) with 0% bank fees. Before nowing about and applying for Revolut I made the mistake of exchanging money which meant lower rate and then with rates changing it meant even lower amount received. Had no problems with app or card in Turkiye getting best rates on demand and using ATMs to withdraw. Also, before leaving, I used the offers to purchase travel items from Gruum. Win Win. Oh, also with Plus level designed travel card with wee one. Nice little functional souvenire of our trip away. Reviewed on: 20th April 2024
