No go zone

This relates to savings too. I have 3 adult accounts with tsb. I turned 17 6 weeks ago. I can pay in, no password, no checks no problem. I try to move money from current to severest but can't, I try withdraw money but can't, I try anything but can't. I'm told to go to online banking then told I have 3 current accounts so can't do anything. I obv only have 1 as I only turned adult recently. Help can't help as I don't have details for accounts I don't have and closest branch is 30 mile away. I'm in 6th form so can't do weekdays and I work at mcdonalds sat and Sunday to help me save for uni. I can't close account as I have multiple accounts and need account number of account I don't have to close the q I use. Cant fo it on phone for same reason. Its going to cost me £52 to take day off work to visit bank and even then vs t be sure they will help. Disgusted@ Reviewed on: 3rd December 2025

My experience with TSB as a customer for 10 years now has been good. Significant improvements have been made to their mobile banking app over the last 12 months, which is now very user friendly and straightforward with very good improvements in functionality. Reviewed on: 5th March 2025

d..Blocked Account transaction.

Blocked account UK advisor OK but Overseas so called fraud experts reading from scripts useless. No managers to escalate your compaint farmed out to moronic Clowns. Reviewed on: 4th October 2024

Institutions require excessive account details.

This experience relates to many other institutions and their credit/bank cards. I was unclear why I couldn't log on to my account on a PC. I called to find out why and had to give far too many details, even including the csv code from the card. Only then did I get an automated response saying the offices were closed. This should have been an automated reply at he start to avoid wasting my time. However, the greater issue is that many ask for similar information before they will communicate with customers. The danger is that if this was given over a compromised line, a fraudulent individual would have all they need to then go on and make purchases. Fundamentally, I strongly believe the financial sector should stop asking for so much detail and instead should ask for at least one less detail. By all means ask for something different but unique.
