Revolut is an e-money institution which means you can take out an everyday account to manage your money in a range of ways.

You can send, spend, receive and hold a range of currencies. Customers get a physical debit card for everyday spending, a virtual card and a single-use virtual card that resets its details each time you use it.

There is no comparison at all with standard banks.

There is no comparison at all with standard banks. There are some downsides, but they are minor. Withdrawal fees from ATMs are high, and some operators do not accept the card, which is a problem. These companies should be boycotted. Reviewed on: 4th March 2025
