Good experience so far

I joined Tandem for its competitive interest rate and have been with them for a couple of years. I like the company’s focus on green finance. The app makes it easy to deposit and withdraw money, which has made managing my savings simple. I also like how you can put your savings into pots. I'm yet to try their live chat feature and I haven't phoned them up yet, so I can't comment on their customer service. Reviewed on: 9th June 2025

Good rates, good app, fast withdrawals

Easy to open a savings account, the interest rate was market leading, and the app is well built and responsive. Paying in and out is fast and smooth process, the actual transfers are often very quick also. The saving pots feature is handy, though I don’t use it much. I have never had to contact customer service as I’ve never had an issue. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

Good savings rate, average customer service

I joined Tandem as compared to most other banks they had a high interest rate on their Easy Access savings accounts. I had an issue where I tried to send my tax rebate from HMRC into the savings account directly, but this was blocked because I could only deposit from linked bank accounts. This resulted in a back and forth of me calling both Tandem and HMRC with neither accepting responsibility. After my 4th call with Tandem they were able to resolve this. I appreciate it was my fault for not checking the terms and conditions on the account but I could have saved alot of time had customer service been more helpful initially Reviewed on: 18th June 2024

Ethical and good interest rate! Win-win

Primarily, I use Tandem for my easy access savings. Combining both a very competitive interest rate, plus the details of what kind of projects these savings are invested in, makes for a very alluring prospect for those of us who would like to earn some money on our savings as well as make a difference for our environment.
