Absolutely avoid.

Absolutely avoid. Terrible customer experience, from a bank that won’t even allow you to control your own money, nor give you even bother to give you a reason why. As a Product Designer I can also confidently say the user experience is comical. Rather than drawing focus to the funds in your account, they prioritise how much you’ve spent that day by drawing contrast to this, rather than what you have available. The staff are rude, unhelpful and not remorseful in the slightest. The last straw for me was when my sister desperately needed me to send some money to her and Starling blocked it. Excellent Account for Business

My business has been banking with Starling since 2020. I find the app very easy to use, the saving spaces are extremely helpful for me to manage expenses. The account links with my accountant’s software which makes everything really straightforward. I am considering moving my personal banking to starling too. Reviewed on: 15th March 2024

Better than Barclays

Great Bank. Got Barclay account frozen after being with them for 20 yrs. Unable to access my funds for 2 weeks. Only got paid £200 for the inconvenience. Glad it happened. Starling has been a vastly improved service. Reviewed on: 15th March 2024
