as a small business we need convenience and speed when paying in or discussing business, which was great when the local branch was open but, as everywhere we lost that and have to go into the town centre so pay to park or circle the town whilst one of us goes into the branch. The staff are lovely and helpful but we only have 2 positions to pay cash in at, so there is always a queue !! I know they want to move everyone onto online banking to save costs, but some businesses just don't work that way, so it does make it harder for them.

I have been with these guys since college, which I think kind of works for my personal account. HOWEVER, the business relationship, has been dreadful; after getting a flyer through for a business overdraft, I applied for the overdraft and the application has become a nightmare.

I have been into the branch multiple times, they promise to call back....never happens. I have simply been looking for a Yes or a No, so that I can move on with my business.

They have no local business or branch managers to mention.

I am still awaiting the latest outcome - there has to be a better way of banking???

If your a small business don't bother with Natwest I've been with them nearly 10 years and they no longer have business managers in store where you could make an appointment and discuss your needs job done. Now its all by phone I called natwest last Friday they don't me id have to book a call back I couldn't actually speak to anyone because they don't have a number for the finance dept so they sent me an email which let me book an appointment the following Wednesday (5days time) between 13:30-14:00. 13:39 I get a text from natwest saying they tried to contact me but they couldn't get through. But i had no missed calls or a text from my carrier. long story short its been a week with lots of promises from natwest but still nothing. I told natwest it was for a new contract and I could lose a lot of money, but they don't care. Don't wast your time.

Pretty shoddy

Lost paperwork; made errors on name spelling and dates of birth; very poor communication in general. Frontline staff are super helpful... to the extent that one person recommended I switch to Barclays (!)

Having been a personal banking customer of NatWest for over 5 years, I opened a business bank account to set up my new Ethnic/Asian Maternity Wear & Nursing Wear business - Indi Mamma. It's been a smooth process and really refreshing to be able to go into my local branch for help with international payments, as well as an easy process applying for funding to facilitate the growth of my business.

Natwest made me have a business meeting with them to open a business account. Hardly any of their branches have a business manager in during convenient hours. So I waited months for a meeting for them to ask my name and address then open a business account. Waste of time. Online banking is rubbish. I had errors on my account and they used to charge over the government amount for overdrawn charges which you have to claim back.

I am quite satisfied with my Natwest business banking account. I usually use their mobile app which very clean and straightforward however I would like to see some future improvements. The app is too often unavailable to log in because of some service maintenance. It is also a bit expensive for a basic business account.
