I have cancelled my policy, had them confirm it seve...

I have cancelled my policy, had them confirm it several times it's been cancelled, and I have now just been sent a default notice. The online chat has been no help and said they can't communicate with the accounts team about it, I am now being threatened and have no idea how to rectify this, they deny all knowledge of these email threats. The worst 'insurance' company I come across in more...

The worst 'insurance' company I come across in more than three decades of using car insurance. Incredibly dishonest, incompetent and arrogant -- prefer working against their own interests, too! Had to deal with them through an ombudsman who proved to be an utter moron, but I got at least some money and satisfaction back. Reviewed on: 6th September 2024

AVOID this deceitful lying company

The Worst Insurance Company, Awful, Greedy, Deceitful,

Why do 1st Central do their so called checks after the cooling off period. I would have cancelled immediately. I purchased this insurance via a comparison site and forgot to update that I am now retired, and to update this info , I am being fined £338.74. This is extortionate, and they have my card details which I will not be authorising. These people are greedy and are not cheap at all. If I had seen these reviews, I would not have purchased. I WILL SPREAD THE WORD: DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THESE PEOPLE. I could have rated a negative number if possible. Why so many bad reviews, there must be a problem.
