Great personal service

Al rayan offers sharia complaint services but is not user friendly. The banking app is severely out dated and is hard to use and there products are confusing. Customer service is not 24/7 and is hard to engage with them Reviewed on: 13th March 2025

Easy to operate fixed term accounts.

Opened a fixed term savings account with an 'expected profit' (interest) which was one of the best rates around at the time. No problems opening account and received regular updates in writing by post. The account recently matured and was, on my request, transfered into my current account. Easy to operate and no problems at all. Reviewed on: 27th February 2025

Excellent customer service

As well as offering competitive saving rates their customer service has always been excellent. If I have a query or a problem they are always there to give me all the help I need and so polite! Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

Not user friendly online banking

Fed up with online systems. Verification code by mobile as well as log in why !!! It does not work Reviewed on: 3rd June 2023

Excellent customer service

I have been with this bank for some years now as they offer competitive saving rates. However my main reason for my loyalty is their excellent customer service which I have always exemplary. Nothing has been too much trouble if l had any problems or difficulties and I have felt to be a valued client and an individual person in my own right. Awful treatment after bereavement

Absolute shambles. They claim not to have received correspondence providing evidence of death. They have no record of correspondence sent to me. Constantly changing the rules relating to date of death valuation. Being charitable this lot are utterly incompetent. Being less charitable they ate being deliberately obstructive in order to hang onto your money for as long as possible Reviewed on: 18th April 2023
