Contact with staff in branch and by telephone has always been civil, professional and helpful. There always appears to be a desire to genuinely offer accurate answers to a range of questions in an efficient manner. No long waiting time for a phone call to be answered, this is appreciated. A high level of management expenses

A fairly standard building society but with high management expenses. This means that there is less money to fund interest for savers, so I mainly save elsewhere. I feel that there is a case for this class of building society to merge and reduce expenses per assets/liabilities. Reviewed on: 29th June 2026
