Excellent customer service

I have been with this bank for some years now as they offer competitive saving rates. However my main reason for my loyalty is their excellent customer service which I have always exemplary. Nothing has been too much trouble if l had any problems or difficulties and I have felt to be a valued client and an individual person in my own right. Awful treatment after bereavement

Absolute shambles. They claim not to have received correspondence providing evidence of death. They have no record of correspondence sent to me. Constantly changing the rules relating to date of death valuation. Being charitable this lot are utterly incompetent. Being less charitable they ate being deliberately obstructive in order to hang onto your money for as long as possible Reviewed on: 18th April 2023

Great but!

Al Rayan offer great savings accounts with excellent profit rates (not interest) so it’s according to my faith and ethics. The bank is for everyone and anyone, not just Muslim customers as people may think. Having said the above I would not recommend their home purchase plans, I feel the conditions are ridiculously difficult and the overall cost is extortionate. Hence my title for this review….! A good, reliable and efficient banking experience from Al Ryan. Customer service are quick to respond to any queries and always friendly and courteous. Their Easy Access accounts offer a good profit rate. Reviewed on: 17th March 2023

Often up with leading rates, by regular adjustments, usually outperforming many savings platforms. I have both Easy Access and a Fixed Rate Bond. I also like the ethical investment common to Sharia banking. Reviewed on: 10th March 2023
