I received an email by this review site to comment further on whether my issue with Al Rayan Bank has been resolved
I have just tried to pay my credit card bill. It failed! Even though I managed to get through the next day after my comment and I can now access cash from an ATM. Contactless payment is still hit and miss and embarrassing when it fails to someone with a perfect credit rating score like me.
When I can get in to central London I will definitely close my accounts which I have held since the Islamic Bank of Britain days.
It's service offering is just too limited for a modern day bank.

I called since I had problem by opening an account. The man answered my phone was very impatient and spoke unclear. As I asked him to repeated one question, he reacted as irritated and spoke loud but unclear as uaual. This was my worst experienced phone service recent years. I could expect no respect from the bank later on. So I'll definitely withdraw my application.

Good Service but not many branches

The bank itself were very helpful when we took our mortgage out. The only problem is they don't have a branch in every city so worth checking out if you've got one in a nearby city.
