Shop around !

Used to be competitive, but after many years of my loyalty, they would not match cheaper quotes. Reviewed on: 10th January 2023

renewal notification

found Aviva great on price but when it came to renewal i had no notice prior to my renewal date , i assumed they did not want my business so acquired a new insurance from a different company , then got a message from Aviva thanking me for renewing with them ?????????????????? it then cost me £28 to stop the renewal ...utterly flabberghasted ... be very careful dealing with this company Reviewed on: 24th February 2022

Incident

Extremely slow at chasing up claims, with little communication with garage. Reviewed on: 26th July 2019

Claim not handled well

When you claim you learn how good a company they are or as in Aviva's case they could improve. They have no cover in place when you claim handler goes on holiday so your emails just go unanswered. Overall my claim was poorly handled Reviewed on: 13th September 2018

Not what it says on the tin

Their "offers" come with a lot of conditions, and therefore very hard to redeem. Reviewed on: 12th August 2016
