Crooks, thieves, not to be trusted

Worst company ever negative rating, cancel insurance for nothing currently neing investigated check out other companies this is a defaqto 2 star rated policy u wouldnt pay alot of money to stay in a 2 star hotel. Their policy are their to rip off drivers and they can't even show u the driving history, told me my son had neen driving erratically when car has been sitting in a garage for 3 weeks waiting for parts to be repaired. Do urself a favour if ur happy to be taken for a mug and get it hard working money taken from u go with carrot, or pay another company a little more to get a great service Reviewed on: 30th November 2017

Not happy.

First year of driving in 2016 was brilliant, I loved that I was FREE and INDEPENDENT; oh no but wait, I had a 'big-brother' watching me.. I didn't mind I guess, I mean black box SHOULD make premiums go down.. instead, ended up getting a very negative score for the MORE TIMES I used my car, doesn't sound like Independence? Left after ONE Year, only thing good for them is the NCB. Second year another Insurance quoted me a LOT less with NO black box.. Lovely!! Carrot are not worth it. Find someone better. Better Driver app is useless

Tried to contact them many times about my app not working and had no response. While connected via Bluetooth to my car I received good feedback on my driving in the 10-8.5 range (with 10 being the best score for a drive based on speed, braking etc). Despite achieving this all week my app would show me an overall score of -3.5 for my driving even though all my scores were high numbers. If you get two negative scores two weeks in a row you’re threatened with cancellation of your policy, which they did, and anytime I would contact them via phone I’d be on hold for 25 minutes because there’s hardly any advisors working. Not worth the hassle, I can see why they had the cheapest quote! Reviewed on: 25th September 2017

Poor service

I waited for over 2 hours for someone to answer my call. Only to be disconnected and having to wait another hour for someone else to answer. Much better experience with Marmalade insurance. Reviewed on: 16th August 2017

Easy, simple and fast service!

Young driver policy

The over all price for my car and age atc is okay, still very expensive but a lot better than other for fully comprehensive, lovely customer service the only fault I have is with the app 'black box' it doesn't always accurately record your journey so you end up with a bad score sometimes for almost perfect driving which is a little annoying but it's not all the time but other than that good insurer! Rubbish

Stay away from this insurance. Had nothing but trouble with the black box. Always playing up, loosing me money on my rewards and my miles would go up because the box says i had been somewere i hadnt. Terrible - avoid

I don't believe anyone has had a policy with this organisation for a year. They just seem to cancel all policies and often due to black box errors. Taking out a policy with them is an expensive mistake Reviewed on: 5th April 2017

Waste of time/money

They cancel your insurance without notification (a few days after taking my money!) and I'm pretty sure this is illegal. When asking why it was cancelled the response was 'You didn't return the welcome pack' (Which I never received to begin with). Would definately not reccomend, as waste of money which I didn't even get back (not to mention I have a baby on the way, so much needed money...) Customer services were rude on the phone and didn't know how to answer my questions just with 'umms'... Also, by the time you pay the deposit etc. you may as well go without a telematics box. The company's way of reviewing your driving is useless... They keep tabs on where and when you go out. I have been with other telematics companies that do not do this. I recommend you go elsewhere for insurance to save future hassel. Reviewed on: 15th February 2017
