SCAM ARTISTS

Scam artists, would give them ZERO stars, if I was able!! Had insurance from 1st Sept until 19th Sept, paid the first payment and then they have proceeded to take £45.00, £25.00 and £28.00 from my account yesterday (2nd Oct 23) after I spoke to them on the phone stating I would not be paying anything further!!! Handled claim quickly and fair price

As a first time home owner, I wasn’t sure who to pick and choose Dial Direct as the price was competitive. I had a mishap with my television and they resolved the issue very quickly, my renewal quote was also quite fair in year two. Found them easy to deal with and friendly! Reviewed on: 22nd August 2023

Dial Direct claim line does not pick calls

We have been trying to contact Dial Direct after an accident to arrange recovery. They picked the call on the third day after the accident. We are on hold for at least 1 hour plus with each dial intermittently throughout the day. We are unable to concentrate because they don’t pick their calls. After the accident , we spent at least two hours waiting for them to pick up the call, we had to call a recovery service to recover the car. They picked the call on Sunday morning and since then we can’t get through to them to discuss the recovery of our car from the service that we used due to their lack of communication.. I am very disappointed and will do my best to damage their reputation as much as possible in all media sources. At the renewal, they gave me a 50% higher price without making any claims never. I said I don't agree with the price and they offered me a around 10% discount online to approve. I called them and said that I do not agree and the person at the reception gave me a price a little lower but higher than the previous year. I accepted lower price, but they charged me the price was actually even higher than the one I initially disagreed with. It was Friday evening at around 9pm when I received the SMS, and after 00:01 it had to be renewed. I couldn't get in touch with anyone because they don't work at that time and even on the weekend, I immediately sent an email but I haven't received any answer even up to this moment. The whole process of taking out insurance with dial direct was easy and straightforward on their website. I found their prices very competitive and would highly recommend them. Reviewed on: 19th September 2020

Easy to setup

Easy to set up the policy but renewal price is almost double last years fee and the only way to stop the auto renew is to phone - this can't be done online. Reviewed on: 6th August 2018

We had to claim on our home insurance due to a plumbing disaster on the first day we moved into our home. The service was exceptional and they made a stressful situation so much easier to deal with.
