Proud to have been one of the first investors in 1981

I was one of the first investors in the Ecology Building Society in 1981, and have been a saver ever since. The Society has grown, but the staff are as ready to engage as they were when I was a Foundation Share Holder. The AGMs are always a highlight with guest speakers and reinforce how much good the Ecology does to improve and finance interesting community and private developments. Reviewed on: 1st October 2024

Very happy with Ecology

It is hard to find savings acccounts that are genuinely ethical like Ecology. Some companies just pay attention to a small aspect of ethics- just a token gesture, I appreciate that they are very local. Reviewed on: 24th March 2021

As the name implies the Ecology Building Society operates on green principles, so helps people tackle climate change directly, so you can feel good about investing. I have held a savings account with them for a few years now and it is great to see that a finance house is prepared to put people, planet and the future of humanity first in their decisions with what to do with the money.
