Review of the HSBC Kinetic, Business Account:

Account opening welcome document requires £15

I recently opened a business account with HSBC kinetic. I could see my account number and sort code on the mobile application, but there is no PDF document or welcome pack showing my account details. Since the account was just opened, there was no statement available. I wanted the account details in a document format so that it could be uploaded to my payment partner website. When I chatted with the customer care, I was told there is no document available as kinetic is mobile banking only and asked me for £15 to confirm my bank account details. Review on the whole app

Use hsbc kinetic most days and it’s never let me down even when I’ve had bad service. You don’t have to ever go into the bank as everything including cheque can be paid in through the app. Very happy and would highly recommend. Reviewed on: 9th March 2023
