Best account for small businesses.

I have had an HSBC Kinetic account for 4 years now and my experience has been great. Firstly there are no fees! The overdraft facility is easy to set up and competitively priced and the app is so easy to use. My account links to Quick books so everything i need is at my fingertips. I have been very happy with my account and intend to continue using Kinetic in the future. Reviewed on: 27th January 2026

I am now in the process of changing my bank over because I am so fed up of not being able to access my account on my mobile. This happened to me once before and I swapped my app over to an Iphone 15, which has been working fine. The app is such a pain to get it to work. On this occasion I have been trying for 5 days to delete and reload the app. I have just called the customer service - who was a very nice lady - but they cannot do anything for me and have logged it to the IT dept. I'm sat here still watching the whirring go around but not able to see what is happening in my account. This just isn't worth £6.50 a month. I really would recommend going elsewhere and save yourself some hassle. Reviewed on: 5th March 2025

Banking so simple you don't think about it

I have held an HSBC Kinetic account for 3 years now and I have found banking a breeze. My account links directly to Quick Books and to Square where we take online and in-person payments. The overdraft facility is easy to access and competitive compared to other banks I looked at, There are no fees - unless you have an overdraft. Reviewed on: 26th February 2025

HSBC are best avoided and waste my time

I am a small business owner and HSBC continue to take up a huge amount of time will simple enquiries. Staff who cannot be understood and don't understand any of their products. They direct you to the website, then the website states give us a call and you end up in loops. I have wasted hours and hours trying to speak to somebody competent but been unsuccessful. They also often hang up on you when you are on hold. I will be changing my bank. Reviewed on: 25th February 2025

Very disappointed.

Very disappointed. Our account been blocked without any reason. After 3 weeks still nobody can answer when we will be able to use our account. Money on the account can't be use in any way. We can't run the business as we can't make any payments. Some friend told me that his account been frozen for 6 months in HSBC. They are not a bank They are fraudsters. Highly not recommended. i am a HSBC customer and wanted to open an kinetic account for newly started business, i have started the process on 27th November 2023, and the app keep failing to process to step 3, once i put my personal data, the app says (oops, we are having some technical issues, please try again etc,) tried a whole month to open, ang i gave up, started to chat online and they told me to go to my local branch and they will open a business account for me, took my phone and the branch said they never seen a error message like that, and gave me a number to call the kinetic team, rang them, it was woman who was on the phone, she said she couldnt understand why this is happening and said she will ask one of the kinetic technical people to give me ring and guide me with this, more than 10days, (dont think this technical people exist ) and i tried again, (my first name is Muthuthanthrige, i have removed E on the end used Muthuthanthrig and the app start work, so finally uploaded all the documents and received a messeage saying, i must use the name as appeared on my ID, great, i rang them to let them know what happend, im sure u can guess the answer from them, yes. "we will ask one of the technical people to call you" lol still waiting Reviewed on: 15th January 2024

Our account has been blocked without any reason. We didn't get any information what was happening. We had booked payments for our suppliers and we couldn't make any payments. I not recommend this account to any business. Make us big trouble........ Reviewed on: 12th October 2023
