Non-existent weekend support

I called HSBC for help on a Saturday as was having issues downloading my transactions. They told me to reinstall the app. I did this but then was locked out of the account. When I called the helpline their only response was to repeat call back on Monday over and over again. Every year when I try to do my accounts I have to spend hours trying to extract the data from the system. It is really poor. I’ve been an HSBC customer for 39 years. Not anymore-shopping around for a less antiquated bank and one with better support. Reviewed on: 7th February 2026
