Great money management app!

Since my eldest daughter started at high school, she needed some payment card. I discovered Hyperjar and have never looked back! The app is so easy to use (for her and me). The money transfer and money management tools are great. And the immediate spending notifications are so handy! Have recommended this app and company to many, many friends. Helps me save while my son enjoys spending

Got in order to for my 11yr old to have card and saving jars. In fact the jars are helping me to save, too. Love being able to transfer/ top up pocket money quickly and to see the transactions my kid makes. Reviewed on: 14th May 2024

Giving pocket money to my kids made so much easier.

Giving pocket money to my kids made so much easier. Scheduled transfers set up so I don’t need to do a thing. Kids don’t spend their money quite so easily now it’s in their account & not in their little hands so they are actually saving more than they used to. I also love how quickly I can freeze & unfreeze their cards to keep their money safe until we are ready to spend. Reviewed on: 2nd April 2024

Best children banking service in my view.

I use Hyper Jar for my boys, it is a very easy service to use, it allows my boys to have some independence over their funds, but yet still under my supervision as I can see where and when they spend their card, which assists in knowing what they are spending their money on. They can also have different jars to budget their money if they so wish, although my boys only have a spending jar and a savings jar, which let's them save part of their money at their own discretion. You can agree with the child whether they want to be given access to remove money from their savings or not. Mine didn't want access, so that they don't dip into the same. My older son has his card linked to his phone, one day when he was robbed of his phone on the way to school, the purchase the thief made using my son's card, was what first alerted me to something being wrong. This was because I got an hyper jar notification of a spending at a place where my son wouldn't usually shop and at a time he wouldn't be using his card. This was good evidence for the police when the thief was caught later that day ( he later pleaded guilty to fraud for using the card and robbery for taking the phone as their was threat of violence at the time of the robbery). In summary I have been using hyper jar for over 3 years now and they are so great, that I have recommended them to friends and family. The best part of all this, is that their service is free to use, no subscription fees. They do understandably charge for replacement cards. When I joined the app the new cards were free at the time, but they are so great that I will happily pay their nominal charge for a replacement card. Reviewed on: 29th March 2024

Easy to use and transfer money.

Easy to use and transfer money. You can monitor your child’s spending. At 13 they can add their hyper card to their Apple wallet otherwise use it normally as a card. children love it as they can see their money growing on the app add birthday money etc. Reviewed on: 29th March 2024
