3 hrs 20 minutes still not answered....

Need to discuss important issue with my mortgages. Tried to call last week and waited 3 hours and 20 minutes before my phone ran out of battery, tried again today (1 hour 50 minutes) didn't get through. Told via Co-Op Facebook messenger they are too busy and try again Monday (I cannot waste another 3 Hours) How can it be this difficult to call and speak to someone, I have been a customer for many years. You cannot email them an enquiry but you can email a complaint!!! Reviewed on: 8th March 2024

Platform failed to provide redemption statement causing delays to remortgage and costed thousands. Customer service non existent. Waited on hold 3 hours each time and often disconnected. This business should not be allowed to trade. Reviewed on: 28th February 2024

80 mins Waiting time on phone for customer service

Waiting time on the Coop/Platform mortgage customer service telephone line is in excess of an hour!!! Currently been holding on for 75 minutes with no ring me back option. Just one recorded message on a loop saying I’m moving forward in the queue. Reviewed on: 19th February 2024

Hi, I’ve spent over 3 hours on the phone trying to pay a mortgage twice I have got hung up on, a direct debit has not been set up and I have always paid using the automated payment system which is now in inoperative, how can I make a payment ? Worst Customer support in history!

I am writing this as I sit on hold again waiting for a customer service rep to actually pick up the phone, I called this morning and after more than an hour I gave up, now I am back on again, been over an hour with no luck, it just says "you are moving forward in the queue" with no indication of how long that will be or what position in the queue you are.. I only want to change the bank details for my mortgage payments.. Literally that's it and as I can do it online I HAVE to call up.. This is ridiculous! Poor communication and lack of respect for customers.

Avoid it at all cost if you value effective communication. You can be calling them for 30 mins and you won't get an answer from anyone. The only time they communicate is when you haven't pay your mortgage. I needed a very important letter from them which was meant to be delivered to me within 4 days but its taken more than 7 days and I've still not received it. Reviewed on: 26th January 2024

Beginner's mistake

This was the most ethical option our broker gave us (first time buyers). The price was good (2021, 1.77%), but customer service is non-existent. There is no online account for you to login and monitor your payments. If you're on CreditKarma, it will show your total outstanding mortgage and update it monthly. Otherwise, you only get a statement of payments made once a year, but that's it. We have overpaid our mortgage twice (had to call and be on hold for a while both times), and they refuse to shorten the term, so all it does is lower the monthly payments. Will not use again, and will not recommend this to anyone. Reviewed on: 5th January 2024
