About this product

Helped me achieve financial freedom

I used plum mainly at university to help me save for my first rental property. It allows you to have the financial freedom you need based on your expenditure so it's less stressful. Plum has helped me manage my money so much

I joined Plum around 18 months ago and I absolutely couldn't live without it now. I have always been ok with my finances, always on top of my bills and commitments but never knew how to properly manage my finances and save and Plum takes the work out of it for me. I started off with a basic Plum account and very quickly saw the value of my savings pocket increase without realising I was saving. I then decided to try Plum ultra which gave me some extra savings rules and features I found really good. Last year I had enough put by for Christmas and to pay for my car insurance outright. If I didn't have Plum I know for certain that I wouldn't have saved the money myself. Having the savings in my Plum account separate to my bank account makes me think about what I am spending my money on and whether I really need to spend it and cuts out spur of the moment spending that I didn't really think about when I had extra cash in my bank account. Last year I opened an investment account and set it up that 50% of what goes to my Plum account goes into investments and I have set my own rule that I am not allowed to touch that, that is my long term savings and the money in my Plum pockets are for other shorter term expenses like birthdays, Christmas and insurance. My investments have grown nicely since I set it up and I can choose what I want to invest it and keep an eye on it and change it around as often as I like. Before I had Plum I didn't know anything about investments and found it all too overwhelming and risky. While I haven't learned anything new about investments the app makes it so clear that I don't actually feel the need to learn, if any of the investments are not doing well I just swap them around and it's working nicely for me so far. I have recently upgraded to Premium Plum which has allowed me to open several pockets to further separate my savings so I can save for these things individually. Since I have joined Plum I have been very impressed with the additions and improvements they have made to the app and I am excited to see what future features will be released. I recommend Plum to all my friends and family and can earn extra cash when they sign up. I love it! Reviewed on: 16th February 2023

My money are in safe hands

Great introduction to auto savings and investments
