I've been with RBS for over 30 years and found them to be a good bank. I was transferred to select silver a few years ago and I am very happy with the account. I get lots of benefits including free taste card , free mobile phone insurance( which I have successfully claimed on!) and a few others. I also get cashbank for paying my utility bills by direct debit. Absolute bonus !!

Fantastic Bank

I have been with the RBS for 27 years, and they really treat me like a VIP, whether I am £10k in credit or £2k overdrawn, I always get the same star treatment - lovely bank!!!

Issue free rewards current account

I've had a Select Silver Current Account for 10 years and have enjoyed benefits including free travel and phone insurance. RBS has great customer service - I've never had any issues in this area.

Lost iPhone 7

Hi there I had my phone stolen abroad on Friday 23 june, I reported it next day to Rbs as I'm covered with my silver account, the phones to say I will get another phone by Monday or Tuesday, thanks so much Rbs it's a big weight off my mind

I recently visited a branch as I had misplaced my card and needed to take some cash out. The advisor was very friendly and helpful and suggested I download the app which allows me to take cash out the machine without my card present. I thought this was a great idea for emergencies. The one downside is that the branch is always queued and have to wait quite a while for any service. I like the coin machines they have in branch where you can pour all your coppers into it and it prints a slip which can be credited into your account at no fee. For paying for a select silver acc (£10 per month) for around 8 years I would expect to have a contactless card but never received one

They remain professional yet seem to have a personal touch that makes you feel more than just a name. We have been with RBS for 20 years now and the main reason we dont change is because of the staff and the service.

I don't really have much dealings with my bank unless they are trying to sell me something. Although last year I queried my monthly account charge, as I couldn't see what benefits I was getting for £10 a month. They were actually pretty good about it and refunded me two years worth of charges the very next day.
