About this product

Revolut is an e-money institution which means you can take out an everyday account to manage your money in a range of ways.

You can send, spend, receive and hold a range of currencies. Customers get a physical debit card for everyday spending, a virtual card and a single-use virtual card that resets its details each time you use it.

Review of the Revolut, Personal Account:

Great - not my favourite bank, but my favourite travel companion.

Revolut is really great, and so is their customer support. I'm an expat, having moved from Germany to UK, commuting the first three months, and I don't know how I would have done it without Revolut. If you need to manage money in more than one currency, Revolut is clearly the best. Only drawback is that transactions sometimes take relatively long (compared to UK standards), as well as customer support availability. They also promise a lot of huge features, but rarely deliver in time. They recently gained Eestonian bank license but that didn't have any real consequences, yet. So as my title says, Revolut is not my favourite bank, but my favourite travel companion. Reviewed on: 25th January 2019

Lovely customer service, excellent value

I’ve found it easy to talk to an agent via the online chat when I’ve had issues such as chargebacks, duplicate transactions etc. they are always really friendly and sort the issue out or give nice a timeline of when it would be sorted. I’ve already recommended all my friends and family to Revolut as I believe they offer and good service and good value. I love that you can get points on purchases, I recently just used them to purchase a £59 ASOS voucher which is perfect for me. And also their free currency exchange during the week is perfect for those last minute get away. I have also purchased gold and silver via the app which was very easy to do.
