Great support towards financial freedom

Credit union have allowed me to have savings which I never had and have given me good advice regarding a loan which helped me out so much. This is so important because it avoids having to use loan sharks or using expensive loan companies who do not have your best interests at their core. Simply knowing that credit union are there to turn to for help and great advice is wonderful. I don't have a lot of savings but just knowing I have actually got some is a great self worth feeling. I know that I would never be able to get myself into debt asking for loans or anything if it was not within my budget and this is so good when dealing with credit union you get the right support and advise. They are brilliant and I have introduced a good few people to them along the way. Reviewed on: 28th June 2023

Sheffield Credit Union real people, not algorhythms

Sheffield Credit Union means dealing with your money with real people, decisions made by committees not algorhythms, they are just really helpful. It's like a friendly bank, how we imagine banks used to be, because it's essentially working for the membership, credit unions are not-for-profit. Reviewed on: 18th April 2025

I have been saving for over 26 years and have always considered my money safe but accessable. Contact with the office is always prompt and understandable. I've not needed a loan as yet but I'm glad my savings are used to help others .avoid loan sharks in hardship times. Reviewed on: 18th April 2025
