I have been saving for over 26 years and have always considered my money safe but accessable. Contact with the office is always prompt and understandable. I've not needed a loan as yet but I'm glad my savings are used to help others .avoid loan sharks in hardship times. Reviewed on: 18th April 2025

100% ethical money management

I have found since becoming a member of the Credit Union in the 1990s they have given the highest quality service. Very prompt giving the members loans, withdrawals and giving savings advice. Reviewed on: 22nd May 2024

Sheffield Credit Union is a very good way to save for a rainy day

I have been with Sheffield Credi Union/Ryton Credit Union since 1990s saving in fits and starts at first then I trusted saving by banker's order. The Credit Union gives better dividend than other banking for me. They are prompt in releasing money when i need to withdraw. Up till now I haven't had to ask for a loan but I know my money is used to help those who find money road blocks arriving unexpectedly. I know of quite a few people who have got back up oto their feet after hard times due to being members of a Credit Union. Reviewed on: 29th May 2023

The best way to save for that rainy day

Sheffield Credit Union has gone from strength to strength and I am completely happy to invest my saving in it. Knowing I can withdraw or borrow immediately when necessary, while funds are used to help others get on the ladder of having savings for those unexpected times. Reviewed on: 10th June 2021

The best money experience

I've been with the Credit Union for many years now. I mainly just save for busy birthday months and Christmas. ( because I'm stingy ) but know that the SCU has the best interest rates in the country if I need a loan. However I contact them they promptly find an answer for me. Reviewed on: 24th June 2020
