Have relied on the account

Having a Starling Bank account has made banking and running our company a lot easier. Could even be makes it possible. The service is intuitive to use and has done everything I have needed for my company so far with a couple of minor issues which I expect can be addressed when I have time. I have been able to set up and manage first one business account then close the company and it was easy set up another when the articles changed. It has been easy to connect with my accounting package Xero for the Sterling account, however I’m still trying to work out how to connect my U.S. dollar account to Xero as well, it may be an issue with the accounting package. I’ve made use of the international accounts in US dollars for clients in the US although one of them had difficulty getting their bank to understand how to send money to a purely digital account so perhaps some of the traditional US banks need bringing up to speed on digital banking. I like being able to add receipts immediately and rapidly pay suppliers. I seem to have some suppliers who are duplicated in the system so it would be good if this was flagged by the system to prevent duplicates. If the payment and income categories completely matched the business tax categories in the accounts and if I could code the projects /accounts within the app that could be useful although I do have to do it in Xero anyway so it isn’t essential. If I didn’t use Xero then perhaps it would be. Reviewed on: 1st April 2023

Day to day Great but Stuck in New Account HELL!

Our account has been great thus far, but applying to a second account for our new business venture has been nothing short of a horror show, endless questions that as a new business you could absolutely not possibly answer and they want "EXACT" answers how on earth do you provided EXACT answers on future income??, this request for a review frankly came at a very poor time for starling until this experience I would gladly have rated them 5 stars and actively rave about how good the service has been but this debacle has exposed a deep lack of support & understanding of what it takes when it comes to starting new ventures at this current time & we are considering moving all of our accounts 3 Personal accounts, Buisness & this new business as well as us no longer gleefully recommending the bank to everyone as we have since we've used it...
