DO NOT USE THEM AS YOUR MAIN ACCOUNT – PLAIN & SIMPLE – HONEST CUSTOMER REVIEW. WORST THEN MAIN BANKS THEY CLAIM TO BE DIFFERENT FROM. Signed up with them in Feb 2024 with the £9.99 monthly fee. At first, I had my work & expenses paid into there, but I then realised it was costing more to run the account then the normal high street banks. (They take 0.99p for every transfer you make). So, I just used the account for making my credit cards payment with direct bank transfer to my credit card provider’s account. Everything was fine until 01.10.24. I made a payment to one of my credit cards & transferred money to an account in my own name which I have transferred to previously before on many occasions. 1 hour later I got an email stating that there were closing my account immediately. I log on to the app & my two payments I made bounced back (yes, they still took the 0.99p fee as well). Within the email it stated to send a UK account where the balance can be transferred into & it could take up to 30 DAYS or sooner. I respond back with details and asking for explanation into why it was being closed. I then sent another email explaining I need the transfer to be made so I can pay my credit card which the payment was due in 48 hours & I would get a late payment charge as well. I got no response until 04.10.24 asking a picture of myself with passport or driving license. I had to keep emailing them to get a response, which I think is not acceptable. They held the funds in my account for 8 days and only transferred over my money on the 8th day. I am so glad I made the decision to not have my mortgage and wages coming in and out of this account, because they really do not care about the stress, anxiety they can cause to a human being especially in these difficult times. Suits Me - Trouble at the top!

Don't know whats's going on with them. Sounds like they could be in trouble. They are compulsory changing all account numbers & issuing new cards. Very perplexing & confusing. Will passwords & security checks still function - only time will tell. Reviewed on: 24th August 2024
