You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

I've been with Tembo for a few years and it's been great, the interest rate is really good. Their app is very friendly. It makes clear what my ISA limits are. It allows me to put in one-off payments which is what I like, but I don't enjoy that this means their "goal tracker" for a house deposit is always set to 99 years. Easy process offering peace of mind

It was easy to complete my online research before setting up Lifetime ISA on Tembo. I like self-service options and this seems to be the right platform for me, all in my control. The choice of provider was easy

I knew I wanted to open a lifetime ISA but choosing a provider was made easy by Tembo's competitive interest rate, which doesn't drop, and good reviews on the app store. Switching my LISA to Tembo was an excellent decision!

I switched my lifetime ISA to Tembo last year and it was a seamless, easy experience. They communicated well and often and I felt like I was in safe hands. Since I've had my LISA with Tembo, they've increased the interest rate a number of times, when most other banks have decreased there's. Easy viewing for achievable goal reaching

I like that when I add money to the account it updates with how long it will take to reach my goal! It makes it feel less out of reach then originally thought. It also allows you to join up with friends/ family to see how long it will take you to reach that goal together! Reviewed on: 25th January 2025
