You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Really easy set-up of the account.

Really easy set-up of the account. Modern, clean and simple design. Process was quick and simple, and the open banking payment approach made it so much simpler to initially top-up the account. Somewhat annoyingly the who thing is set-up for first-time buyers as opposed to saving for retirement which made some of the pages confusing and redundant with no way of skipping. But emails were good and the underlying processes are really strong to ensure you are fully informed and never overpaying. Reviewed on: 14th August 2025

Brilliant company, highly recommend for any ISA!

Tembo provide an amazing service, very easy to use and the best rates going, their customer service is brilliant and they're quick to answer any issues and sort them just as quickly. Opening a Lifetime ISA was extremely easy with them and it's easy to change your monthly contributions without having to contact them, the app let's you do it all!
