Honestly, this process has been so smooth start to finish. At first, after trying to unsuccessfully buy a property above a commercial premises, I thought that nobody could help me. Tembo found me a good deal however, advised me to steer clear from it - and in hindsight, it was excellent advice. Further down the line I found a perfect apartment for me, and my advisor even locked in a far lower price than the recent mortgage price spikes, lowering my average monthly cost by about 100 pounds, which is a lot when you’re a sole FTB! The 1% incentive also added an additional 150 pounds on top of my deposit, which helps out a ton when moving and money can be so sparse.
