Very efficient service, shame about the use of a 'one size fits all' deed of assignment, most of which is not applicable for a holiday let. Reviewed on: 15th March 2021

Static (in difficult times)

We have lodged our complaint with you expressing our strong dissappointment that you have not reduced monthly payments since the BOE base rate went to .25%. Loyal customers deserve better treatment. Reviewed on: 18th September 2020

Don't always believe

Money tooken for house valuation and it is our fault that we didn't wait for the answer first. But customer advisor was saying "no need to woried all should be okay, all looks good". Declined because of that there is gaps for last 4 years working (it is not true). Money for deposit are from student finance (Not true as well). Not even given a chance to prove that that it is not true. "You are in risk beacuse of Covid-19". So why giving a hope.. I do not recommended Reviewed on: 16th July 2020

App to offer fantastic, offer to completion poor

The number of items that were requested were onerous and too much, my solicitor received numerous pages of requests, the app to offer was about 2 weeks and it was over 3 months to complete. Reviewed on: 4th November 2019

Application still on going

Up to now my experience with Vernon Building Society has been very good but I do not feel in a qualified position to answer on the complete experience as it is still on going. There was a valuation on our property last Monday but we have heard nothing. Reviewed on: 1st March 2019

Remortgage

All has gone quite smoothly but really irritated that a valuation was required when the LTV was 15%. Quite unnecessary as was the cost of the valuation Reviewed on: 2nd January 2019
