When the appointment was arranged yet the engineer refused to attend the property because there was no parking This is an old terraced house in the UK—most do not have private parking. Has anyone ever heard of this? Completely unacceptable. On the second scheduled appointment, I was informed that the engineer attended the property but left without knocking, waiting, or making any attempt to contact me. The engineer then refused to return, despite the appointment being pre-arranged and confirmed. When I contacted your company to request a refund of the excess amount I had paid, I was told that this amount would be deducted on the basis that the engineer had attended. I strongly dispute this claim, as no service was provided and no attempt was made to gain access to the property. I believe this behaviour is misleading and unacceptable, and it raises serious concerns about the integrity of your service Also their service is 24/7 its a lie Please do not take insurance within them you going to put yourself in a very stressful situation when its needed it. When you complain they tell you they will make a £30 surcharge for ending the policy. When they send their plumbers to check your boiler, they will find a small issue, in my case a small grommet that needed replacing, and they will tell you the charge will be £150. (I didn't follow their crooked advice and I had it replaced for a fraction of that amount by an ethical plumber.) I encourage you to avoid these cowboys, there are far more transparent and ethical competitors offering a much higher quality of service, even if you pay a little more, you'll be saving money in the long run! I also notice that their very poor customer service consists of little more than writing the same cut and pasted message under every negative review: Hello, We apologize for all the trouble. They said it was a 2 hour job and “reduced” the price of the part to £30 from £60. It was a £12 fireplate Engineer was here for 25 minutes. He lied and said it was 55 minutes.
