The Barclays current account is free, well run, and easy to use. They offer many platforms to manage your account, and keep you well updated through several different methods. I find the bank to be supportive and helpful, without being too pushy. Reviewed on: 22nd April 2015

Made an appointment in a local Barclay's branch which was extremely easy. Had my appointment today to open an account and the adviser was nothing but helpful and did not at all make me feel rushed, infact it was like talking to somebody i had known for years. She helped me set up all my mobile banking apps and she couldn't of possibly done more for me, went well above and beyond her call of duty! I certainly know the difference between good and bad customer service with banks after been a very dissatisfied customer with HSBC. I was so happy with the service i have received i have been recommending this to family and friends. I would certainly love my feedback been passed on. i would advise my family and friends to go to this bank. i have never had a problem with my account and i think if i would to have a problem, it would be sorted through theiir excellent customer services.

i love my bank account. it is a simple bank account with telephone banking and online banking, the online banking is soooo easy to use and i have never had a problem with this company at all. Reviewed on: 22nd April 2015

It's a really good bank, I have had my bank account since July, and they've been really good, they've blocked my debit card when i was using it too much, which is a good feature but if you are always needing to buy something off the internet you may hav some trouble, hence the 3 stars rather than 5. Right from the get go, I received great service from a customer service representative.

I was searching for some information on their company in order for me to make my decision on whether or not switch to them. I was contacted by a customer service representative and they helped me with all of the questions I had about their company. Its very rare that you find a CSR that is actually in a good mood who understands the customers needs. They guided me through the process of starting the application and what forms I would need in order to complete it as quick as possible in a time efficient manner. The only disadvantage that I didnt really approve of was the wait time. The wait time was ridiculous! Worst than ATT and TIME WARNER wait times. A whopping 45 minutes just to talk to a rep. Thats too much time used up when it could have been used up on something else. I really really really value my time. Reviewed on: 17th April 2015

I was not quite sure what to expect from Barclays, but as soon as I walked into the bank, I knew I had made the right choice. Everyone is so friendly there! I have received great customer service, and every problem that I've had has been promptly and thoroughly addressed. Of course, some tellers are more friendly than others, but my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. Most of the time, I get the idea that tellers truly care about my experiences at Barclays. That is really quite rare in a bank. It feels so good to know that I am in good hands at this bank, and I made the right decision when I chose them. My online banking experience has not been perfect, there are some flaws in the system - but that is outweighed by the superior customer service I have received here. There is always someone to help, which is such an important feeling. Highly recommended! Reviewed on: 13th April 2015

Reliable, friendly, easy to use

Barclays have been my main bank for a while now, and I've never had any problem that they couldn't resolve. Whenever I've called their customer services team for anything at all, I've been served quickly and efficiently and I've never had to fear my account was not secure.
