    Be prepared for interrogation

    Trying to open a business account with these guys was like trying to get blood out of a stone....1st it couldn't link my company details... Trying to open a business account with these guys was like trying to get blood out of a stone....1st it couldn't link my company details to the companies house and took them 3 days to update...then once done I get integrated for my beauty company.....then when done and tried to pass the identity I had to go into the branch and they told me my water bill will not be accepted....then when I had my broadband bill on phone they said it had to be paper copy so I told them to print it they refused....anyway once I sent the print they took pictures of me and my passport then I was told it will take another 7 days to approve. So I have told them to cancel the whole thing....went to wise account opened with 1 hour. Read more Read less

    Do not use Barcleys, not to be trusted

    Got a redemption value to pay mortgage off 11th December, paid within one hour, App showed all correctly, then Barcleys took another direct debit on...     Shocked and disappointed

    I've just had to retire. I'm now only on the state pension. Barclays have kindly informed me they are taking away my overdraft facility (... I've just had to retire. Barclays have kindly informed me they are taking away my overdraft facility ( I'm not overdrawn - I owe them nothing ), and told me if I become overdrawn, I won't have access to my account ( that's quite a threat - starve and become homeless ). So thanks Barclays for the removal of the financial safety net of a disabled pensioner in the middle of a cost of living crisis. I've banked with Barclays for decades. They have made a fortune out of me when I was working. Now it seems I am disposable. Read more Read less

    I can't stand what it has become.

    I can't stand what it has become. It had deteriorated over the last 20 years. I preferred it when the setting was more formal. Stop shutting down branches.
