Good Rates, But a Bit Old-School

Barclays’ Cash ISA offers solid interest rates, which is definitely a plus. However, the whole setup feels a bit outdated. The rules around deposits, withdrawals, and how the ISA works in general aren’t the most intuitive — you really need to read the fine print to avoid surprises. It’s a good product if you’re looking for a safe savings option, but be prepared to deal with a more traditional and somewhat rigid system. Reviewed on: 11th April 2025

Avoid at all costs

Appalling. Every time I have to deal with Barclays it is painful. I am now trying to transfer my cash ISA out and their 'intentional incompetence' is making it VERY difficult to get my money out. Reviewed on: 11th February 2024
