Very poor experience whereby I was misadvised by sev...

Very poor experience whereby I was misadvised by several different colleagues and poorly spoken to by in-store team. Ended up filing an official complaint which didn't even need escalating for the complaints team to agree with all of my issues. Even when the account was opened, they didn't give me an overdraft (which is pretty much the only reason to get a student account) and wouldn't really elaborate further. RUBBISH SERVICES

I had better customer service since i started my barclays account. I would say the bank has wide range of options to choose from and i find it very easy.

Excellent customer service. the mobile app and the direct debit options were also very easy which means it has been accepted by a wide range of businesses and also insurance options are available. Reviewed on: 10th March 2023

not leaving

I've been with Barclays for 22 years and don't plan on leaving. They have been steadfast support through life challenges and remain my main bank account. Looking forward to the future and possibly taking out a mortgage with them. They have the blue rewards scheme, and I have a rainy day savings account which has high interest and is easily accessible to me; being a student, I need to get my hands on finance at will. Just average

Barclays' student addition is a good product if you just want to deposit your money and withdraw it anytime you want. That's it. Just an account to put the money. There's no profit, no good offer or cashback, no interest option, just a safe money deposit. Can't say I'm impressed. Reviewed on: 10th February 2019

A great Bank!

I am a foreign student. I found in Barclays the help I needed to open my banck account without delays and without problems. In addition, through the application I can make queries, movements and payments without any problem, and under all security parameters. I feel safe and happy having a good bank that recognizes me as a person and that takes into account my needs. Reviewed on: 12th January 2019
