Payments held no response - I have had my business account for 2 weeks they have stopped every payment I have tried to make to staff on purchases and now a customer has transferred a deposit to me on a Friday and they have held that payment and I won’t hear from them until Tuesday which puts me and my customers behind worst bank I have ever known Reviewed on: 29th August 2026

do Barclays have any branches left?

closing branches no customer service long waits on telephone staff to greet you at branch to force you to use a atm staff did not understand speak good english and because dressed in work clothes was ignored looked down on elderly also ignored Reviewed on: 17th April 2026

Autistic Approved! Haha

Unacceptable Service

Jet Blue Card - Barclays Unacceptable Service – Closing My Account I am beyond frustrated with Barclays and the level of service I have received. My concerns were repeatedly ignored, and I can no longer trust them with my finances. As a result, I am closing my account immediately. I will also be sharing my experience across social media to warn others about the poor service and lack of accountability. When I attempted to withdraw my funds, the situation changed dramatically. Communication became slow and evasive, withdrawal requests were repeatedly delayed, and eventually both my profits and original deposit were lost. The broker's claims of being a regulated platform now appear to be false. After extensive research and reviewing similar victim cases, I contacted a fund recovery specialist who successfully helped me retrieve my money. A careless attitude from Barclay's

Barclays blocked my card on the 8/11/2025 as they thought there had been fraud on the 3/11/2025. A new card was sent. This card was blocked before I had a chance to use it. Another card was sent which I never received. Numerous requests for a new card were made, no card arrived. It was not a case of not having a healthy balance. 18/12/2025 I still waiting for a new card. Barclay's staff are rude, interrupt when I am speaking and trying to shout me down. These people are all foreigners who by their attitudes should not be in a customer service environment. Barclay's have adopted the same attitude if could not care less.
