Dreadful and a complete waste of money

As a freelance designer, I thought it would be good to have a business bank account - sounded more professional. The reality is that I get absolutely nothing back from Barclays for having my business account. It has never been useful to me and now all the branches are closed. The only reason I still have it, is that they are SO difficult to contact, I have never found the time to work out how to switch to a regular account that I don't have to pay for every month. My go-to mortgage broker!

I have been using London & Country Mortgages for year sea always recommend them to my friends who are looking for mortgages. I can often find dealing with finances like this quite intimidating, but L&C have always been so friendly and approachable. A great service! Reviewed on: 24th March 2025
