I had better customer service since i started my barclays account. I would say the bank has wide range of options to choose from and i find it very easy.

Excellent customer service. the mobile app and the direct debit options were also very easy which means it has been accepted by a wide range of businesses and also insurance options are available. Reviewed on: 10th March 2023

their mobile app for banking and for transferring money internationally free of any charges is amazing for the overseas students or people. I can manage my account from my mobile whenever wherever i want i just love their services. Reviewed on: 7th December 2018

Unbelievably useful

Having a student additions account has really helped me with my budgeting and staying on track. Each week I move my weekly budget into my account which helps me keep track of how much I’m spending. If one week I go a little over budget and into my overdraft that’s okay, because I can just move next weeks budget into the account and take it off that week. Swift, Helpful and coherent

The Customer Service Agent in branch (Hackney) was really helpful. The Banking app is very clear, simple and intuitive. When I need help, the staff are helpful and as an international student this is one less headache because the service is excellent Reviewed on: 7th December 2018

The Best Bank

Barclays was recommended to me by my friend. Being a new student in UK, opening a bank account has been an easy task with Barclays. I could fix an appointment with the staff prior to my arrival in UK. The staffs in Barclays are very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend this bank to others. Good bank, easy to understand

Great help for Overseas Students.

It is very efficient

So far Barclays has been extremely good to me and even though I have had people tell me move to other banks I continue to use Barclays and for me it is really reliable and efficient to use. Reviewed on: 7th December 2018

Does the job but could be more generous to students

Barclays online and the Barclays app allows you to manage your money easily and on the go. It has always been reliable in my experience. However, it does not offer as much reward to students as other banks. For example, some banks offer a 16-25 railcard or a years Amazon Prime gift card if you have a student account with them.
