We have reviewed your file and we can see that there were some initial delays of about 3 weeks while we sourced an estimate for some additional work you felt was needed. The subsequent delays have arisen due to your choice of repairer being incredibly busy. We are still waiting for an estimate for the repairs from them and the loss adjuster is continuing to chase them for this. Unfortunately we're unable to progress your claim until we have this information. Please do get in touch with us at [email protected] if you wish to discuss it further. Very disappointed

Constantly having to chase up the our claim as response to emails was very poor. Lost adjuster very rude & was only interested that we had our locks on the unit. Replacement caravan was unregistered ex demo 165 miles away so we had no choice but to expect a cash settlement that was £250 under our total insured value. The list goes on. CMC still collect Ins premiums for Lunar caravans knowing they can by-pass liability for certain types of fault.

Very disappointing outcome from insuring through CMC. We had a Lunar caravan and it cracked severely due to a 'supposed' over tightening (of a screw) manufacturing defect. CMC insurance (Devitts) said the liability was on Lunar, who of course no longer exist. Having shifted liability to an obsolete company CMC (Devitts) said they were NOT paying out. They were very happy however to take our annual premium for 2 years knowing they had this 'loophole' in their back pocket in case a fault happened on a lunar caravan. Disgusting and covert practice to have, and continue to have (assuming they haven't changed their policy) for owners of Lunar caravans. Reviewed on: 8th September 2023

Bad customer service

Bad customer service set direct debit up and they send threatening letter saying cancelling in 7 days this is every month last year with a diffrent company no problem at all Reviewed on: 8th September 2023

Unhelpful advisors, unable to provide a quotes, computer says no!

I tried recently to get a quote from the CAMC for a Fifth Wheeler Inos caravan we were planning to look at & was advised they don't insure them. This week I tried to get a quote for a new Coachman motorhome we are looking at this weekend UK spec right hand drive not an import, again CAMC were unable to provide a quote. Advisor informed me he was unable to provide a quote for the new Motorhome unless i provided the registration number , i explained it was a new vehicle which wasn't registered yet that i needed a quote so i know how much it would cost to ensure if I purchased it, I had all the other details & specification he advised that he was unable to help leaving me very frustrated. This has forced me to look elsewhere for my insurance I got a quote from Caravan guard & they were so helpful & knowledgeable brilliant service, I will be using Caravan Guard for my insurance moving forward. There are better choices for insurance elsewhere

It started badly and just got worse. NOT impressed. I deal with Insurance companies on a professional basis and have done for 35 years. Probably assad as it gets. Reviewed on: 27th September 2022
