Excellent rate with Chetwood Bank

I used Chetwood Bank as they were giving the best interest rates for Fixed Rate Bonds & Easy Access Accounts. There is always a person on the end of the line to help you after answering your security questions if you are worried about anything to do with your money. Thats plus having someone to speak too. Easy to set up and deal with.

I found out about Chetwood Bank through the Martin Lewis website. The interest rate was excellent and the decision to set it up was very straightforward. It was a little unusual that any credit or deposit can only be made through one nominated account, but not a great problem. I was a little annoyed when I discovered the Barclays connection, which I had been boycotting. Chetwood Bank itself answered all my queries with speed and without fuss. Good savings rates, but limited withdrawal options

I’ve been using this bank for a few months, and their savings rates are definitely a highlight – currently they offer some of the best rates for an easy access account. The website is user-friendly, making it easy to manage my account and track my savings. However, I’ve found the withdrawal options a bit limiting. You can only make one withdrawal request per day, and it takes a full day for the money to be available, which can be a bit inconvenient. I haven’t had to contact customer support yet, so I can't speak to that experience, but overall, I’m satisfied with the savings aspect. Reviewed on: 26th January 2025

Issues getting a text code to log in

To log in there are often issues with receiving a text code to keep you waiting and then they may come all at once and which one do you use. Get it wrong and you're locked out. Reviewed on: 26th January 2025
