Great customer service on the phone

Tracey at FBS helped me through unlocking my account, despite my mixing up my accounts and getting confused. She was extremely helpful and courteous and stayed on the line until I'd got back into my account. Reviewed on: 26th August 2026

Opening new account.

I was having real difficulty in logging in and I contacted the BS by phone. Phoebe Hogg on the helpline , with much patience, sorted out the problem and then guided me through the requirements to open an additional account. This is becoming more onerous due to the need to enhance security. Overall it was a lengthy session and I was much impressed with Ms. Hogg's pleasant demeanour and patience. Got there in the end!

Two calls and several emails needed to sort out access to my newly established bond account. Got there in the end but resetting the password was a tricky and time consuming process Reviewed on: 21st August 2026

Positive and negative.

Positive and negative. Good that my savings bond will automatically renew at the new customer interest rate if I take no action. Bad for the amount of paper involved even though I am registered for on-line communication: I received six pages regarding the renewal and two letters totalling four pages confirming the renewal and payment of interest. Two emails would have sufficed. Reviewed on: 20th August 2026
