Total wastage of money and time

Total wastage of money and time. I have had this account for many years with not a single penny in prize or interest to show for it. I am going to close my account now. If I put that money in premium bonds or an ordinary savings account, I would have gained thousands in all these years, I have premium bonds and other savings accounts, so I know what I am talking about. Great help when locked out of my account

I look for savings accounts with decent interest rat...

I look for savings accounts with decent interest rates, Family B/S has usually been competitive. What I would like to see are competitive fixed rate ISA’s with monthly pay away options to provide monthly income. This is a facility many older customers would take up to avoid unnecessary taxation on their savings Reviewed on: 11th May 2026
