Messiah was very helpful in helping me set up a new...

Messiah was very helpful in helping me set up a new savings account to receive my existing FXD Bond that matures 17th August. He was patient and stayed with me on the phone whilst I opened the account and then took instructions from me verbally to switch the maturing funds over on the day of maturity without to have another conversation. He was courteous, and professional in his approach and I was very pleased with the service he provided. Reviewed on: 4th August 2026

Log On problems

I logged in and as it took some time for the passcode to come through to my mobile, it had expired. I tried again and same thing happenend until I was locked out of my account. A quick phone call, hardly any wait time, with Alfie and it was all sorted. He was very patient when I couldn't provide the account details and misquoted my national insurance number. Family BS - An Excellent Home for Fixed-Term Savings

Just opened a new 1 year fixed rate bond with Family. Already an online customer, so did it all online. Extremely straightforward to do. Excellent rate. Bond funded via Debit card, there and then, so no messing about with cheques in post. Formal confirmation of the new bond i.e. the certificate arrived in post within 3-4 days of opening the account. Can't find fault with the rate, the process or the customer service. Highly recommended. Reviewed on: 25th July 2026

Renewal of savings bond

I phoned to renew my fixed rate bond which was due to mature. i am slightly hard of hearing but the adviser spoke very clearly and i had no problem understanding him. The process was quick and easy and I would recommend saving with this Building Society. Reviewed on: 24th July 2026
