Outstanding telephone appointment

I booked an appointment with Louise, a new business representative at 9.30 am this morning to discuss our mortgage requirements. I received a call, almost exactly on time and she explained how the appointment would progress. Her telephone manner and attention to detail was excellent and I certainly felt at ease giving her our financial and private information. Overall a great experience. Reviewed on: 11th September 2026

Fantastic Support from Start to Finish

I was supported and advised by Serena throughout the process, and she was absolutely fantastic. She was always patient, considerate and incredibly helpful. There are a lot of questions to work through and, at times, it can be difficult to understand exactly what everything means. Serena took the time to explain things clearly, never made me feel rushed, and was excellent at making what could have felt quite complicated much easier to understand. Assistance with RIO issues

I was feeling quite despondent with difficulties we where hitting. Eric explained that my idea was not feasible. However, he was able to suggest a different product and made a old man very happy. Peace of Mind? Choose FBS

We are in our late 70s, and still had a mortgage with smother Lender which was interest only. We found ourselves in a position whereby we could revert to paying capital and interest. However,our Lender informed us that they were unable to accommodate our wishes and gave us notice that we would be required to pay off our mortgage by the beginning of 2027. This meant that we would have to sell our property, which we had lived in for 50 years. After checking out other Lenders, the only offers surrounded equity release which we did not want. We had all but given up hope when I read about FBS and their policy of supporting borrowers in yhere 70s+ .Having made initial contact with FBS, we were delighted with their caring approach to older Borrowers. The customer care was very professional and their product knowledge first class. Having come through the affordability stage of the process we were assigned a Mortgage Adviser, Peter Cook.It was an inspired choice because Peter was absolutely superb. Very professional and forensic in his approach, Peter guided us seamlessly through the process. His knowledge and expertise was invaluable in us securing approval. Peter was always available for discussion and to answer any queries. He was painstaking in his support and his support and involvement have given us peace of mind now that our mortgage with FBS has been approved. We'll done FBS and we'll done Peter Cook. Thank you.
