Had a message chat and was given a number to talk about my new mortgage rates options, it was the savings number, but I was politely and quickly transferred to new business. Small queue, answer pretty quickly, person very polite, helpful, knowledgeable and gave me the advice I neeeded to make a product decision. Provided additional info and signposted the next steps. Well Done Family Building Society

Louise Taylor was really helpful discussing through a possible mortgage solution for my son his wife. She was thorough and really understanding. We have past experience of an mortgage with Family Building Society and also have savings with them. They have been top rate on both sides. I would recommend them a lot. FRAUD NEVER APOLOGISED

FBS sent me a bill some 12 months after I took the loan which was unjustified and I had to fight long and hard to get this removed. Bailiff was mentioned. VERY BAD Reviewed on: 12th January 2026
