I chose Chetwood because...

I chose Chetwood as I wanted a decent interest rate for a recent redundancy payment - with no penalty access. Account was recommended on the Money Saving Expert website. Really easy to open account online. Method of paying in and making withdrawals clearly explained and has been really easy to use. Reviewed on: 27th January 2025

I've only recently joined Chetwood and so far so good! Everything seems very straightforward. The website is easy to navigate and the security is good. The only thing I'd like to see is a mobile app, although I understand it takes time and money to develop this. Reviewed on: 27th January 2025

Very easy to set up an account

Very easy to set up an account and register for online access. Withdrawing cash but was a straightforward process. The only drawback is withdrawals are not instant, but seemed to be processed early the following day. Reviewed on: 26th January 2025

Easy to set up and deal with.

I found out about Chetwood Bank through the Martin Lewis website. The interest rate was excellent and the decision to set it up was very straightforward. It was a little unusual that any credit or deposit can only be made through one nominated account, but not a great problem. I was a little annoyed when I discovered the Barclays connection, which I had been boycotting. Chetwood Bank itself answered all my queries with speed and without fuss. Good savings rates, but limited withdrawal options

I’ve been using this bank for a few months, and their savings rates are definitely a highlight – currently they offer some of the best rates for an easy access account. The website is user-friendly, making it easy to manage my account and track my savings. However, I’ve found the withdrawal options a bit limiting. You can only make one withdrawal request per day, and it takes a full day for the money to be available, which can be a bit inconvenient. I haven’t had to contact customer support yet, so I can't speak to that experience, but overall, I’m satisfied with the savings aspect. Reviewed on: 26th January 2025
