Good rate - mechanics could be better

The website is a bit clunky. I don’t like having to log on using a really non-memorable long number, rather than my email address or a username I choose myself. There doesn’t appear to be an app, which I use for all my other banks and prefer. I don’t understand why withdrawals don’t arrive until the next business day - withdrawals from competitors occur very quickly with Faster Payments. The good thing is the interest rate, which is why I opened this account. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2025

Good but there small imrpovements to be excellent

I found it really easy to set up a easy saver with Chetwood Bank, they confirmed my application quickly and conacted me via email to confirm. I am so far happy with the service from Chetwood but there a few things that I think could be improved. When first transferring money it goes to a barclays account rather than your own account and you have your own reference number for the account, which made my bank and myself question whether it was legitimate. But as it's not a direcrt account it means that the money takes a while to appear in the account. Another thing is ease of use, you have to login online every time and use a on time passcode sent to your phone. This would be so much easier if they had a moblie app. Reviewed on: 11th February 2025

I found it very straightforward to set up my account.

I found it very straightforward to set up my account. Chetwood have embraced the notification process of asking you for a security code which it sends to your mobile phone. Interest is credited each month to my account, which I like. Haven't yet requested any transfer of money out of my account, so can't commet on that, but early days yet. Great rate, easy withdrawals.

Nice easy recent transfer to Chetwood. Best rate on the market, and fast smooth withdrawals when I've needed to. No app, but mobile access via browser is easy enough. Reviewed on: 9th February 2025
