Excellent customer service.

Excellent customer service. I have had my main current account with FD for many years and although other banks may offer different/better rewards from time to time, I wouldn’t dream of switching this account. I have rung them at all hours of the day and night over the years and they answer quickly, are always friendly, understand my question straight away and provide a swift answer or fix. Good rate - mechanics could be better

The website is a bit clunky. I don’t like having to log on using a really non-memorable long number, rather than my email address or a username I choose myself. There doesn’t appear to be an app, which I use for all my other banks and prefer. I don’t understand why withdrawals don’t arrive until the next business day - withdrawals from competitors occur very quickly with Faster Payments. The good thing is the interest rate, which is why I opened this account. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2025
