Great savings rate

Excellent interest rate now back at 5% and allows £250 per month to be paid in Reviewed on: 20th February 2023

Monthly Saver Over the Phone

Through the website I arranged a phone consultation with an advisor. Could not be more happy with the service I received, answered all my questions and helped me set up a monthly saver. Also was happy to take the time answering general financial questions not specific to this product. Reviewed on: 16th February 2022

Took a while to verify

The application process was alright. The actual rate I got changed during the process and I may not have selected it if I knew that up front. Reviewed on: 31st May 2017

No stress banking

Let me start by saying I'm not one of those people who join a bank and stay with that bank for life. I joined TSB 7 years ago and can honestly say I haven't been able to find a bank that offers a better deal for day to day banking. I have several products with TSB: a current account and several savings accounts and move my money around to help me budget. Reviewed on: 28th November 2016

Interest rate

My review is about the 5% interest for having £2000 in your account balance. I get this interest every month for putting in 750 a month which is easy to do as you can take it out again when you want. Reviewed on: 14th October 2016

Extra security annoying.

Although I loved the idea of a regular savings account at a great 5% interest rate. I got annoyed because I could not set up an auto-sweep function or transfer funds of different amounts without giving phone confirmation. It also fails to tell you it must be done before the 25th of each month, not the end of the month. Reviewed on: 15th June 2016

Easy to open but maybe too easy?

Since I already had an online TSB current account, when they launched a good interest rate monthly savings account I went online to open it. It was very easy to do, just a few clicks, but at the stage where I would have expected some kind of 'click here to confirm you want to open this account' message I just got a confirmation that it had been opened! opened this last month when they incresed the rate to 5%. It was quick to open online and set up a standing order Reviewed on: 30th August 2015
